Join Top End Explorer Tours on this adventurous 4WD safari to the edge of the Arnhemland escarpment and experience two of Kakadu National Park’s world renowned icons, Jim Jim Falls and Twin Falls. Access to these areas is by our airconditioned 4WD, departing from Jabiru or Cooinda. Learn some interesting facts about the native flora and fauna, and the area’s cultural values on a bushwalk through the shady monsoon forest along Jim Jim Creek. Be rewarded for hiking 900 metres into the gorge over the large boulders with a refreshing swim in the cool waters under the towering cliffs of Jim Jim Falls and ample opportunity for photography. Enjoy morning tea while marvelling at the awe-inspiring cliffs. The falls may or may not be flowing depending on the time of the year. Our journey into Twin Falls Gorge continues with an exciting drive on the 4WD track, a short boat trip, and a stroll along the edge of the creek. Enjoy lunch on the white sandy beach at the base of magnificent Twin Falls.
