waterways and waterholes around Jackson,Thargomingah,Noccundra,Durham Downs,Nappa Merrie.All have plenty of them. Make sure you get permission to enter station land.

replied: This may sound odd but the best results I have had with catching red claw is using PUMPKIN and/or POTATOE as they are really a herbivore but will eat meat.
No need to keep bait under refrigeration so more room in the
fridge
I did a lot of research on the subject and that is why on farms they use lucerne etc to feed them in ponds. One other thing they are mainly nocturnal so you will catch more over night than thru the day
Thats what I have found. Good hunting
