When I'm too old to travel the outback, I reckon I'll have everything just right ! The "house" ? - Main street, Windorah.

Bango,
That little bit is ok to travel actually. I have had a statement clarifying this on our
Permits
page (look under the
Trip Planning
menu tab), but realised I hadn't duplicated it across to the SA and WA
road conditions
pages (Look under the
On the Road
menu tab) where we also mention the Googs and Trans track conditions so have just added that a moment ago to make sure it is clear.

I travelled the full length of the track from Glendambo to Kalgoorlie two years ago.
Since then it has been closed and a $10,000 fine to be issued to anyone found crossing it now.Train drivers have been instructed to report any vehicle they see.
I know the USA has bought the railway. They have also bought the town of Cook and left only one person in the town .
