Tom Price to Mount Augustus

Need to travel from Tom Price to Mount Augustus later this year.
Have been told that the best way is from the Nanutarra - Munjina road about 100 km from Nanutarra through "Wyloo" and "Ashburton Downs" to Mount Augustus
Any info on road conditions etc.

Hi Fred,

Haven't map infront of me. But here goes...
Last year in July drove up from Meekathara. Excellent to Mt Augustus. From there to Mt Tom Price road conditions varied (other car I was with had two flats) via Ashburton Downs. Couple of roads around the river area are permanently closed and I was left with feeling - will I get there!! Road goes all over the country side but, don't get me wrong, it is scenic. We came out on bitumen west of Tom Price and took the dirt road in via the NW. We were told bitumen was good but trafficked.
I hope that gets you started.
regards
Mike
