Wondering if anyone has used this venue and has any thoughts they could pass on,eg., facilities, surrounds etc. Also places of interest in the area and fishing spots.

donmac, Greenhead is a great spot for a family break. The c/park has heaps of shady grassed areas for camping, and the abloutions are spotless.Dynamite Bay is one of the prettiest spots great amenities provided by the shire. There is some great snorkelling at Dynamite Bay especially around the north point.Stockyard Gully cave is a must see.Not sure about fishing though we never have much luck in that department. Its a great area really quiet hope you enjoy it. Spencer

Thanks Spencer and Lachy, sounds like the spot for me, appreciate your thoughts.

Greenhead is in a nice location but be warned...the wind can whip across this coast. We had a camper trailer when we went to Greenhead and thought the thing was going to blow away. The boys were lying in the tent, which had blown absolutely flat in the wind...it was quite funny!
