Hmmm that's a tough one. Last year trolling, a mate was using one of my lures on one of my rods and hooked up and I netted the 5.5lb brown trout. I'd normally be using the rod but I invited him out and we took turns at bringing the fish in that we hooked!

Sorry gforse,

SWMBO (the wife) caught the fish:-) You only caught a snag:-(

Why do you insist on arguing with a woman anyway.
Just smile and let her have her glory. Tis a small concession to wedded bliss.

No question whats so ever! Karen caught the fish! You said "missus grabed it and pulled in a 68cm cod", so that means, your Karen caught the fish. You said that your self. "The missus pulled in a 68cm cod". Build a bridge and get over it Gary, you were out fished....................

Feed a woman fish, and she cooks for a day......

Let her think she knows how to catch a fish.......

Hard call.

If you set a rabbit trap, and she bought it back, who caught the rabbit? You did.

It's a little like when Tracy can't open a jar, so she gives it to me to open, which most times, I can.

"Oh, I loosened it!" She says

"I opened it!" I say.

I think it's her catch........sorry

Ah yes Eric ,but that is a known rule on game boats as is the draw of the highes to the lowest card to see who goes first .

i don't think this rule would have been in pace so it's "my rod ,my fish" unless otherwise stated .;-)

It's a bit like the story of the BBQ................
SHE buys the meat and salad...
SHE prepares the meat for the BBQ...
SHE prepares the salad...
SHE brings the meat to the BBQ...
HE cooks (blackens) the meat....
SHE sets the table...
SHE serves the meal...

everyone congratulates him on a great meal..... HE can't understand why SHE doesn't appreciate her "night off".... LOL....
