Boost Controller to Hilux 2.8D

Hey there

I had a Denco Turbo fitted to my Hilux last year which made a great improvement to the drivability (is that a word).

I'm just after some info on fitting a manual boost controller to the system as I am a novice in this area. The controllers are now quite cheap (from about $50 upwards) and from what I've read they are a 5 minute installation.

What is a safe psi to be running in my motor (around 190,000kms)?

Should I have it put on the dyno to have it tuned correctly?

Do I need to make any other upgrade (fuel etc)?

Cheers
Brad

The question really is, why do you need one?

I'm after some easy horsepower and I thought this would be not a bad way to get it??? As I said I'm a novice in this area. Is there a better way to increase boost?
I've read somewhere that you are running around 10psi, how did you acheive that? I know some are running a lot higher but I like my motor too much.

Adjustable boost valves are good for the Lowered Hyuandi crowd, but they can cause issues with people who care about their trucks.

If you really want more power/boost, goto a proper diesel place, and tehy can adjust your wastegate, and match the pump to it.

If your not sure who to contact, contact Denco Diesel via their link on this site. or www.dencodiesel.com they are great people to work with.
