Clutch specialist(s) Canberra/Queanbeyan

Patrol22 (Queanbeyan

Hi Everyone - I developed a quite severe vibration at 1400-1600rpm and concidently my clutch has developed a shudder and is intermittently slipping. So I guess it's about time to change out the clutch. I will probably be changing the dual mass flywheel (I suspect that this is causing the vibration) at the same time as I can get a Exeddy (formerly Daikin) HD clutch kit and a solid flywheel at the right price. My problem is finding someone to fit it. I don't have the time nor the tools and facility to do the job myself so I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good firm to do the job for me.
BTW I am expecting about 8-10 hours for the job can anyone give me a better idea.
The vehicle is a 1998 GU 2.8tdi Patrol.
Thanks
Pete

Pete,

Monaro Off Road is the only one I can recommend, Nissan had a recall for those models in '99 due to vibration maybe yours hasn't been done....

Nash Off Road is under new management and worth a try (Mitchell). You could ask Nissan just to compare.
