Shock absorber specs

Submitted: Monday, Aug 27, 2001 at 00:00

Tony James

A few months ago I found a web site that had a listing of shock absorber specifications such as lenghth (extended and compressed), type of ends and size etc etc. As a matter of fact, it had all the information you could ever need to select a shock for a custom application. The page wasn't fancy - just a plain table full of info. Trouble is I can't remember the name of the shock company or find the web site again. I am now in need of this information. I knew I should have added it to "favourites"!
If anyone knows of this page, could you point me in the direction of this site please? I need the info for a fitment to a custom trailer. The retail outlets just shrug and say "these will do the job", but I have specific requirements.
TIA
Tony

You probably saw specs on the Rancho shocks at their US website www.gorancho.com

They have recently changed so the info is now catalogued by vehicle I think (which of course means a long list of vehicles that are either Ford, GMH or Jeep).
