Fuel consumption

I have added a snorkel to my 1998 2.8L GU patrol. My fuel consumption has increased! I thought it would increase slightly if it had any effect. I'm using about 14L/100km. Comments please.

We noticed that our 1999 model seems to run a little better with a snorkel. Fuel consumption ranges from 9.23 to 17.43l/100km, which includes sand, high country, outback and highway driving. Various trips have been clean, with roof rack or camper. We have an average in 1999 of 11.11 and 11.6 in 2000, currently it is 13.18 which has been all town driving. I think consumption mostly depends on conditions at the time but I prefer to look at long term consumption which is pretty good
