Could be a couple of things, I had the same around 12-14 o'clock today. And I am directly on UUnet, same as WebCentral, BeyondIT (exploroz) provider.

Maybe its time to upgrade to a proper webserver technolgy (my opinion)

Or maybe the database could be made more efficient...

Or move the site closer to the international entrance point, out of Brisbane and into Sydney.

ExplorOz Team - David replied:

The site is being moved onto a new server today/tonight and there has been backup cycles and things running to ensure that the swap over is seemless. We are moving to a faster server with less websites on it. Costs a fortune, but should be much better. This was the reason for the membership request in last newsletter and price increases - Thanks all for the over 100 new memberships over the last few days.

Hopefully the swap over will be complete tonight - all indications from the hosting company are good for tonight. Lets see what happens tomorrow if it does get swapped over.Regards ExplorOz Team - David -------------------------- Always working, not enough travelling ;-)
