Booking accomodation

Leigh

Some people I know have recently returned from a trip around Oz. They said that when coming down the coast of WA they were unable to book ahead for accomodation, ie. caravan parks, as the parks would not accept bookings from tourists. But West Australians from down south were able book accomodation for their holidays. After arriving in Coral Bay they were unable to get a site and were forced to continue on. Has anyone else heard of this sort of thing happening, being unable to book ahead? Any feedback? I live in Vic. and am planning on doing a trip up the coast of WA, across to NT and then down through the centre. I was going to book camp sites ahead but if the parks won't accept bookings does that mean I'll just have to take pot luck?

Any park that cares about it's reputation should take a booking - I suggest looking for good quality parks at this site: http://202.59.52.36/racv/
