I am heading for a Northwest 3 month trip next year towing a caravan.
Can I get a cd map of WA to use on my laptop? I wont have GPS but just need something user friendly showing fuel stops,
camping
grounds etc.

You can get the 1:250,000 maps from National Mapping for the whole of
Australia
for $99.00
http://www.auslig.gov.au/products/maps/raster250k/
Suggest you check out OziExplorer www.oziexplorer.com if you have a GPS and laptop you can have moving maps which is magic.

Auslig Maps and Oziexplorer is the way to go. Wait until later in the year before you buy the maps though. Auslig are still updating them. Most have beeen brought into line with GDA but there are still some of the older maps on the CD set, most in Central
Australia
. My informant tells me the totaly new set should be available about August 03.
