Article Overview - Long Range Fuel Tanks
A large number of outback treks involve long distances between fuel outlets. Jerry cans are dangerous, difficult to store and not as convenient as a long range fuel tank.

Anyone know of a long range tank for a 2007 Nissan Patrol ? The existing 30 L one is a joke !

replied: I have replaced both takes in my 2006 GU4 Patrol which is basically the same as yours. 145 main tank and 70ltr Sub tank, both are Longranger tanks though I'm pretty sure 4wd Systems do a larger main and sub.......I've been very happy with the Long Ranger thus far and has copped a fair battering........

replied: I have just had the TR59 (70lts) tank installed on Thursday last week
I chose to replace the middle subtank rather than increase the main tank mainly due to the weight distribution.
I currently have a twin wheel carrier on the rear and didnt want to add any additional weight beyond the rear axle than I already have.
