Camp Tables Feedback

Article Overview - Camp Tables
One of the most obvious camping equipment purchases we all make and hope will be our last – is the table. You could be excused for thinking that this purchase is rather straightforward but in reality, it is not that easy.

We have the usual rollup table and two folding chairs, but in addition we have a neat stool that has a flat removeable top. This is invaluable for those evenings around the campfire when you need a low table to rest your beer or snacks on so that you don't kick them over in the dark. The table/stool is readily available in good
camping
stores.

It is interesting how my response to another comment on
camp tables
has become a separate thread! Anyway I got my tickets in the

draw.
A picture is worth a thousand words. Unfortunately I can't find one on the web.
The stool is a very ordinary looking cross legged, folding type with a fabric seat. The trick is the folding top that fits neatly over the fabric top. You don't sit on it when the top is fitted. The top has nice sides as well as a laminate-type surface. It is about 40CM square. I picked mine up at Snowy's in Adelaide. It comes in a carry bag and cost about $30.00.

They have a table in the rear of the CRV and to use it you have to remove everything from the rear first, then guess what, you have table. It is the floor in the rear.
Only thing is, when you have finished with it, you have to put every thing back in again.
