Simple really Patrolguy1, PRICE!!!!!!!
I was in the same boat and needed to replace the relay rod which is a forging with integral tie rod ends and the price from Nissan was at the time $535. The Leslie ones are $320 and the tie rod ends are replaceable so if one gets damaged simply replace that tie rod, not the whole assembly.
The only thing with the Leslie GQ ones are that both tie rod ends are left hand thread, not a problem for me, I'm VERY HAPPY with the quality of his products. The actual relay rod itself is of very heavy wall 32mm diameter tubing so is extremely strong.

ahhhh.
i phoned pedders today when i seen the post at lunch time and they sell the rod for $120 just not adjustable.
i know cruisers are adjustable adjust them all the time when doing alignments so as to get the steering wheel straight.
that was why i was asking.
thanks andy
