Hi all,

Filled up on LPG in Perth today.... 76 cents/litre!!
About 3-6 months ago it was less than 50cents/litre

In the meantime Petrol prices have probably gone up 10cents/litre if that.

I was just wondering if WA residents are the only ones getting rorted or is it national?

Out of interest, it's not worth my while running LPG any more as there's only about a 15% cost saving now against a 50% saving 6months ago - My Hilux uses arond 14L/100km on petrol and 20L/100km on LPG... Petrol's around $1.25 and LPG $0.75

Going back to petrol... Next 4WD will be a DIESEL!!

Will.

Yep it's a JOKE!. used to own a lpg hiace years ago.
Seems they want to keep the price a minimum of %50 of petrol, even though they are not linked?????????????????
Diesel in SA is currently up to 20c/ltr dearer,so no saving to be made there!

HI,
Did a quick trip across 4 states last week (2255km).
Recall seeing LPG price somewhere at 89.9c.
Diesel (which I use) ranged from 133.9 (QLD) to the highest I recall was West Wyalong 155.9.
Sorry I cant remember where I saw the LPG at that price but the large price sign stating 89.9 is still etched in my memory of the trip.
Cheers,
Glen

I had a post on LPG a few days ago on this. We have just crossed the Nullarbor and at the Nullarbor Roadhouse LPG was $1.20 litre, which had jumped up from 99.9 cents/litre on the day we arrived! a 20c/litre jump isn't bad is it? From there on to Norseman LPG was $1.06 to $1.08. Coolgardie is 97.9 cents/litre and Kalogoorlie is in the high 80 cents bracket.

As mentioned, check the fuel watch on this site. I'm adding to it as go around.

The goverment won't step in because the pollies won't ever have to pay for their own petrol/diesel/gas usage. What a joke it was when John Howard kept saying he understands the motorists pain! As if he remembers what paying for fuel is like (and he never will).

OK, time to go.

Mark.

hi, the prices around SA are Victor Harbour- 71.9 cents, Goolwa- 81.9 cents, Adelaide seems around 75-79 cents, and on a recent trip to York Peninsular prices ranged from 79 to 89.9 cents. it's amazing to us how the price of gas seemed to always hover around the same until the government gave the rebate out and what a shock up goes the price.
