replied: Docker, You are not legally entitled to WA channels outside of WA, because of the govt. licence areas. Optus does not discriminate on where it transmits it's signal to, but but if you provide them with an address outside of WA then your Optus card will only be authorised for the eastern states channels. If you've got an address in WA then they will activate the WA channels, but turn off the eastern channels. If you forget to notify Optus that you've travelled into WA or vice-versa you will still get your original channels. By the way, if you tell them you are in an area with normal tv reception, they are obliged to turn you off completely.
