Troopie rear seating

Submitted: Friday, Dec 07, 2001 at 00:00

Douglas Ballantyne

I have recently purchased a 1998 Troopie with standard 3 seats in front. I wish to fit a 3 seat forward facing seat, which I have purchased, however I am having trouble getting this plated due to the need for a swivelling front passenger seat. Does anyone have any suggestions. Doug

Try looking through the 4wd wreckers for an RV Troopie seat mount. The RV's came out with the swivel thing standard. The other option is to put in an aftermarket passenger side seat. I think they are avaiilable with enough forward movement to let in rear passengers (single seat only). If you have HEAPS of money, you can get a third door installed (behind the passenger door). I'd try the wreckers first, and welcome to the elite club of 4wds, that of Troopy owners :)
