Truscott airfield in the kimberlys

can you get to Truscott airfield by 4wd? i have a few maps that show roads at to airstrip but not going to the strip.
i am thinking of checking out the kimberlys in a suzuki sierra . will the suzuki handle it or am i asking for trouble ? hoping to go in june 2002.

cant get to truscott by road, unless special permission is obtained from 'locals'. Not really worth going to, not much there. Pretty overgrown etc.
Would really trash the sierra too.
