Yerranderie
a couple of times via Limeburners and would not think it possible to take a trailor.Going up the escarpment is very steep, but then nothing is impossible.

replied: I have travelled that track twice, although it has been four years since the last trip! When I travelled the track it would have been possible to drag a trailer along it. I recall seriously considering hitching up my old (non 4X4) trailer for my second trip but decided against it due to the low clearance it had. Some of the track going up (and more importantly DOWN) the escarpment is steep and niggly in
places
, but if you have decent low range reduction you should be fine.

replied: I did the trip Kowmung R to Wombeyan via Limeburners in Oct last year - the track is steep and has a firm but gravelly surface - if you are towing a trailer and therefore must have all the family on board, I would suggest you go the long but safer way, in from the west.

Thanks to all the people that replied to my post on information on towing a camper to
Yerranderie
.
There seems to conflicting opinions on the track conditions and wether or not I should tow a camper.
I suppose it's got to do with when that person went and the track conditions at that time.
Anyway thanks again to all. Just on the off chance has anyone got any GPS coordinates on this trek?

My club did a trip to
Yerranderie
near the end of last year. Two trailers taken and both got through without a problem, and that was with a wet track.

replied: We did
Yerranderie
in Dec2001 without a trailer but you shouldn't have too much problem if it is dry. We recently saw some new prados take a trailer up some really steep stuff at
Hill end
with no problem so the Patrol should be fine Di
