replied: Peter: on my Cruise i made 2 simple screens the frame is made out of household flyscreen the type u can buy at any hardware store and i use aluminium or brass netting i hold them in place to the bull bar with cable ties when we camp at nigth i remove it and swapt it with a clean screen if u use aluminium u can burn the spinnifex over the camp fire
allways keep an eye on it as sometimes it can get really full,I found this to be simple and cheap to mantain
Cheers JOE

replied: PETER. I CROOSSED THE
CANNING STOCK ROUTE
AND THERE IS HEAPS OF SPINIFEX ON THAT TRACK. I USED THE GREY FILTER MATERIAL THEY USE ON AIR CONDIONERS. IT ONLY REDUCES THE AIR FLOW BY LESS THAN 5% AND IS VERY HARDY. ITS CHEAP WHEN YOU BUY IT BY THE METRE, WHEN YOIU FINISHED WITH IT JUST THROUGH IT AWAY.(IN THE RIGHT PLACE OF COURSE.)EDWIN
