Fuel on the Stuart Highway

Does anyone know the longest gap between fuel between Port Augusta and Uluru? Not accustomed to considering this as I drive a TD but I'm planning a ride on a motorbike with just a smidgeon over 200km range. Grateful for any help or a lead to sites with this info. Thanks

on the way there she made it all the way without hitting reserve and on the way back she hit reserve at 195km because of a stiff headwind... made a huge difference..

replied: Thanks Duke-Attie - Ihave a ShadowACE750. The longest before reserve has been 275 and the earliest 215 so with a bit of care I should be OK. Thanks for your advice - I might need to stay under 100 for that stage!

Coober Pedy
is 250 metres above sea level and there are some gradual uphill climbs you will be doing. You have to take that into consideration. The wind is generally from the west but in the summer months more often than not from the nort-west and thus a direct headwind. Have fun.
