Simpson Desert Fuel consumption
Submitted: Sunday, Jan 28, 2001 at 00:00
Jim Searle
I am planning to do the
Simpson Desert
trip in winter this year. I have a 2.8 GU patrol and am wondering if anyone has completed the trek in such a vehicle. If so, I am interested in any comments about fuel consumption crossing the Simpson. I would also be interested in general, what decrease in mileage to expect on the trip by other vehicles.
