yes i have read all the posts , but i would like any further comments on the prt before i fork out $499 . hopefully i will never have to use it , but if i do will it work , mainly on sand . fraser , moreton , straddie etc . ( i have an arb m8274 high mount winch) on a troopy .

replied: They work well in sand, I have seen a Nissan Patrol hooked up to one via the front wounted winch being dragged forward. In sand especially they just bite in deeper.

you mentioned, how many thousand people go to Fraser etc and never need one? Including Toorak Tractors!
