I ssem to remember a bush type
camping
ground (no power but ablutions) less than a kilometre from town but searching the net, it keeps telling me to go to Lane Pool or Nanga. Does anyone know the name of the
camping
grounds close to town? From memory it was on the left just leaving town back to the city.

Your dead right Wayne. Don't know where they came up with the name but apparenly its called Dwellingup Caravan Park. And they do have power now. A place for the wife & mates to sit while I explore.
Thanks for your help

Bitsumishin,
I don't know if Scarp Pool would be the location you speak of but it is on the left after leaving Dwellingup heading toward
Pinjarra
. Its more than a K but it is a nice spot. Was always well signed in the past but after you turn off the bitumen its a K or 2 down the gravel on the Murray River.
Regards,
Slim
