Submitted: Saturday, Jan 03, 2004 at 02:20
MARK (GEELONG)
Can any one tell me how much water is in Rocklands?
And if there is is there a good
camping
area near the water away from all the crowds
Looking at going early next week with Patrol and camper
Dont need any facilities as we are self sufficient

not sure on how much water there is in Rocklands, it's been a while since i was up there, but there is a toll free number you can ring: it's the Hamilton tourist and visitor info centre: 1800 807 056 they may be able to help you out.

replied: Hey MArk,
Its at about 15% maybe less and water is
miles
away from the bottom of any boat ramp or shoreline, theres still some nice
camping
there and there may not be many people at
places
like Fergusons or Andersons given that there is hardly ay water in it. Glendinning and Balmoral is busy this time of the year.
