The caravaners' retreat - Great place to spend a few days relaxing at the local swimming pool that uses the artesian water (at most comfortable temperatures - 25+ degrees and hotter in the spa). Its not flash and its not expensive - but very very pleasant. (Inexpensive) Rest Area camping along the river (huge areas, no power and you will get your "morning constitutional" walking to the public toilets and showers) certainly worth a stop-over.
