Description of Kuranda
A 30-minute drive up the Kuranda Range is the fastest method of reaching the township. This gentle drive provides a feast for the eyes as you wind your way up the range with views of the Coral Sea's tropical coastline on one side and pristine rainforest on the other. The remaining two choices are via the Kuranda Scenic Railway or Skyrail.
