Large grassy camping area so plenty of room to spread out.
Pleasant creek at camp edge. Track in from Grant is steep and rough in parts but the views are awesome.

New Good Hope Mine - Steam Engine [2.82km]

This portable steam engine was lowered to the mine site from McMillans Track. The engine powered a small 5 head stamp mill to treat ore from the New Good Hope Mine. This adit from the Crooked River side of the spur attempted to intersect the rich reef being worked on the Good Hope Creek side of the spur however this was not achieved.
