 Description of Biamanga National Park

Mumbulla Mountain, at the upper reaches of the Murrah River, is sacred to the Yuin people, and a number of sites throughout the park have spiritual significance to local Aboriginal groups. In 2006, Biamanga National park was officially handed back to the Yuin Aboriginal people of the South Coast of NSW. The park is now jointly managed by a majority Aboriginal Owner Board of Management and the NPWS.
