Road and Coolangatta Road (C629). The drive along Coolangatta Road through tall timbers and rainforest, ferns and mosses leads over Mount Mangana and Lunawanna on the other side of the island. This road has magnificent views northward along the Neck to Cape Queen Elizabeth and on the descent, another

Bruny Island
Bruny Island lies off the east coast of Tasmania and is accessible by vehicular ferry from Kettering - 33km south of Hobart. This trek features many attractions including: Cape Bruny Lighthouse, Historic Adventure Bay, Fairy Penguins at the ‘The Neck’, and much more.

Adventure Bay is the hub of Bruny Island. Adventure Bay was named after captain Tobias Furneaux' ship the Adventure (1773). Various cafes, the Bligh Museum, various tours, guided or self-guided walks to nearby Penguin Island and Fluted Cape and two caravan parks and a general store are the main attractions of Adventure Bay.

Fluted Cape
[4.75km]
Fluted Cape is located within the South Bruny National Park at the most southerly end Adventure Bay. The cape is a massive dolerite cliff. Penguin Island, a rocky knoll of 67m, is on the easterly tip and is separated by 100m of water. At low tide it is possible to walk across rocks from Fluted Cape to Penguin Island.
