CREB Track	Closed	The Wet Tropics Management Authority and Ergon Energy advise that the CREB Track will be open from May 2008 following closure for maintenance works Maintenence of this track is costly and infrequent. I have personally spoken to the guy who actually maintains this track (August 06). His request for vehicles when traversing this track, when open, is please place your wheels outside the existing wheel ruts and/or beside the previous vehicles wheel tracks. Nolans Brook is deep and has soft sandy bottom - cross at own risk. But passable with snorkel and care. Vehicles have bogged here towing trailers and filled up with water - ensure laptops cameras fridges and valuable items are above water level as a precaution.
