Flushed with pride and full of confidence after defeating the Great White Bum and saving the Earth from a bum revolution, Zack Freeman resolves to follow in the footsteps of Silas Sterne and become a great bum-hunter. He enrols at the Bum Hunter's Bum-fighter Training Academy and begins studying for his elementary bum-fighter's certificate. But frustrated by his inability to successfully complete even the most basic level in the bum-fighting simulator, angry at the Kicker's constant put downs and haunted by the thought that his defeat of the Great White Bum was due more to luck than skill, Zack quits the academy, vowing to settle down and give up his dreams of bum-fighting and bum-hunting. However, when Zack arrives home and discovers his granny's house under siege from an interplanetary Zombie Bum invasion, he soon finds, whether he likes it or not, that he's back in the bum-fighting frontline.
