The current 121.5/243 MHz analogue COSPAS SARSAT service will be terminated in February 2009 and only the 406 MHz digital beacon signals will be processed hereafter.

NOTE: A PLB is not a substitute for a 406 Mhz Marine EPIRB. Where Australian & International Law require a 406 Mhz EPIRB to be carried, this product does not meet these requirements.
